BOSASO, Puntland — Dr. Abdiaziz Ahmed Gurey has announced his resignation from Bosaso General Hospital after nearly nine years of service, raising concerns about the departure of an experienced medical professional from one of Puntland’s major public healthcare facilities.

“After nearly nine years of service and responsibility, I have officially left my position at Bosaso General Hospital today. It has been a great honour to serve my community. Thank you,” he stated.
During the Calmiskaad military operations, Dr. Gurey reportedly received widespread appreciation for his efforts in treating patients and handling surgical cases.
