Puntland President Presides Over Graduation of 11th and 12th Police Batches
Carmo, September 11, 2026: Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni today presided over the graduation ceremony of the 11th and 12th batches of the Puntland Police Force following the completion of their training.
The trainees completed their programs at the Puntland Police Training College in Carmo and the General Carays Military Training College in Godod, Galkayo District.
The ceremony was attended by First Deputy Speaker of the Puntland House of Representatives Mohamed Bari Shire, members of the Puntland Cabinet and House of Representatives, Puntland Police Commander Brigadier General Mumin Abdi Shire, senior presidential officials, representatives of Bari Region and Carmo District, senior officers from Puntland’s security forces, and other dignitaries.
The graduation marks the completion of the trainees’ professional and security training as they prepare to join the Puntland Police Force and contribute to maintaining public security and order.
