The United States has granted visas to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and other officials to attend next week’s United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The U.S. granted entry permits to Iranian officials despite having no diplomatic relations with Iran and amid tensions between the two countries. However, it has reportedly denied visas to several other leaders, including some from Africa, according to reports from Washington
